1951 FORD CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE FOR SALE... This ford shoebox has a flathead v8 with overdrive manual transmission. Runs and drives great, with rear adjustable air bags and brand new 15 cooker wide whites (radials). This ford is an original convertible, that has been chopped 3-4 inches on convertible top and windshield. Top folds up and down with ease and fits snug. Top flows with body perfectly and is new (white top). Candy apple green paint that is in great condition, bone interior with green piping for interior. Engine number (A 3 M 1) 1953 mercury flathead engine with chrome covers, edelbrock intake, offenhauser head, holley 4 barrel carb, 12 volt wiring upgrade, Kill switch, Volvo steering box and Teflon water pump. Under carriage is clean, solid with new exhaust and (rear) air ride suspension (10 - 100 lbs of air), tail dragger to 10 height. Chrome is nice and shiny with a 50 ford smoothy bumber, 55 chevy side chrome and interior chrome dash. Body has been been chopped, shaved, nosed, peaked, channeled, louvered, fender skirts and added Appleton spotlights. Body - 53 chevy front clip,54 Pontiac grill, 55 chevy headlights (eyebrows), 59 cadillac tail lights 53 chevy parking lights, nosed and peaked hood (louvered), shaved door handles and fuel opening (now in trunk).
