Description

1963 Chevrolet C10. This truck is truly a relic, featuring original paint all freshly buffed to a beautiful shine. Currently powered by the truckâ??s original Chevy 230 High Torque in-line 6, that only has 73,000 original miles. The original motor is backed up by a freshly rebuilt Muncie 4 speed (floor shift). This truck truly does not have any cancerous rust. The surface rust on the body panels does not have any holes or areas of concern, and the prior patch work done on the lower fenders has not shown signs of spreading. Aside from its preserved originality, the truck has been tastefully modified to my liking. The truck has been lowered approximately 6 inches in the front and 10 inches in the rear. The spindles, springs, shocks, C-notch, track bar, and other suspension parts have all been replaced with known quality parts like CPP, belltech, McGaughyâ??s, and more. The front brakes have been upgraded to a power disc brake set up (drilled & slotted). The truckâ??s rear end was also replaced with a brand new one, which led to brand new rear drum brakes. A new drive shaft was installed and the differential was also swapped out for lower gearing (3.07) in order to get better gas mileage and great highway cruising speed (60-75 MPH). All these suspension and brake upgrades also include a 5-lug conversion. The customization does not end there. Inside the vehicle a new Vintage Air A/C system was installed that blows ice cold. The Vintage Air system was routed to an original Chevy Cool-Pak under dash unit in order to keep the OG look. The truck also features a sweet Bluetooth sound system which includes a JL audio amp, JL audio subwoofer, and 3 hidden speakers. The speakers are hidden within the dash, and under the Cool-Pak under dash unit once again to keep the original look within the interior. A yellow top Optima battery powers the entire truck and allows for you to play music for hours while the car is not running. The wheels were powder coated gloss black, feature era-correct hub caps, and are wrapped by Hankook Optimo tires. I have the original owners manual, as well as a maintenance log from the original owner which I thought was pretty cool. The windshield has been cracked since I purchased the truck, seat has a vertical rip at a seam that I believe can be sewn back together.
