2K-Mile 2004 Superformance Cobra MkIII

This 2004 Superformance Cobra MkIII was assembled by Dynamic Motorsports in Ross, Ohio. Power comes from a Ford 428ci V8 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley four-barrel 750 cfm carburetor, and more. The engine is mated to a Tremec 5-speed gearbox. It is optioned with chrome bumpers, a glove box, a right-hand side view mirror, and a windscreen-mounted rear view mirror. The hand-laid fiberglass body is in very good condition and all chrome is clean. Superformance utilizes a parallel-ladder steel tube frame with fully independent front/rear suspension, Bilstein coil-over shocks, rack and pinion steering, and front/rear anti-sway bars. The left-front wheel was recently replaced and sourced through a Superformance dealer due to an air leak through the original wheel, which will be included with the sale. Wilwood aluminum 4-piston calipers with cast-iron ventilated rotors provide ample stopping power. BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires are date-coded 2001/2002. The black leather bucket seats, full carpeting, and cabin trim are described to be in near-new condition aside from some slight wear on the driverâ??s seat piping and in the carpeting by the throttle pedal. Some scuffs on the driverâ??s sill plate are also mentioned, and two sets of floor mats come with the car. An SC-style dash is installed with a counter-clockwise tachometer. A 5-speed Tremec gearbox puts power to the ground, although a traditional style shift lever and 4-speed shift knob were supplied by the factory. Under the hood is a Ford 428ci service block with a stamped 1966-spec engine tag. The heads are aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPMs, and an aluminum Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold is also fitted. The motor breathes through a Holley 750 cfm four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke. An oil change was carried our around one month ago and service records since 2010 will be included with the sale.
