1973 Pontiac Trans Am

Now its setup as a wicked pro-touring resto-mod as you will see from the description being provided. Only 3,130 automatic Trans Amâ??s were produced in 1973 and this one still retains its numbers matching TH400 transmission. It was recently rebuilt with a Hayes rebuild kit, Allstar 240 stall converter, Fairbanks shift kit and new poly mounts were installed. Bolted to the numbers matching TH400 is a 74 dated Y-Code 455 that is far from stock. This 455 is bored .30 over (462), drilled and tapped 4 bot main, line bored and balanced, equipped with a Forged Eagle Crank, Kaufman D-Port Aluminum Racing Heads, Ferra SST 2.11/1.66 Valves, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Quick Fuel SS-750 Carburetor, Quick Fuel Carburetor Fuel Lines, AED Fuel Pressure Gauges, Holley Fuel Pump, Full Roller Top End, Comp Cam 274H, ARP Hardware throughout, Cleveit 77 Bearings, TRW Forged Aluminum Flat Top Pistons, MSD 6AL Electronic Ignition, MSD Aluminum Vacuum Advance Distributor, MSD Plug Wires, Hooker Comp D-Port Ceramic Coated Headers, Pypes 2.5" Exhaust with V-Tube Mufflers and X-Pipe. Suspension has been setup with Hotchkis 2.5" Lowering Kit, Hotchkis Anti-Roll Equipment, Hotchkis Sub-Frame Connectors and the car rolls down the road beautifully on 17" Year One Repro Honeycomb Wheels! Believe it or not, this car clears 274/40ZR17 tires on all four corners. This allows for the tires to actually be rotated and the stance is evil with a 275 up front!
