1951 Mercury Convertible

1951 Merc Custom Street Rod This is an amazing example of a timeless Merc Street Rod. It's chopped 3 1/2 inches. All the original stainless trim on the windows has been retained and reworked to accommodate the chop. It has 50's Buick stainless side trim custom fit to it with custom side skirts notched to match the lines on the trim. The spot lights are fully functional. Shaved door handles with electric poppers, custom lakes pipes, Frenched headlights, frenched taillights, frenched power antenna, Stainless Caddy hubcaps w whitewall tires, Custom power trunk, Desoto grille. Custom built performance (I was told over 500hp no dyno sheet tho) 70's Cadillac Eldorado 500ci said to be a stroker engine (owner said bored to 514ci) builder built a custom intake to fit two four barrel carbs! Lots of aluminum accents under the hood. 700R4 adapted to fit the Caddy block
