1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL, 2 DR, HT, fastback, R-code, 427 dual 4-barrels, 425 horse, 4-speed, 4.11 rear. The Thunderbird 427 ci High Performance V-8 came with some mandatory equipment including 4-speed transmission, heavy-duty suspension, heavy-duty battery, 7.10 x 15 in. four-ply nylon tires, large fade resistant brakes, and heftier driveline. Power steering, power brakes, AC were not available with the 427 option. Engine, transmission, rear differential all rebuilt.
