Description
The Turbo Look option featured the brakes, widened bodywork, and many suspension parts from the contemporary 911 Turbo, and according to the Turbo-Look Register this car is #57 of 65 Targas produced with this package for the North American market in 1985. It retains its original 3. 2-liter flat-six, and the 915 5-speed manual transaxle was optioned new with a limited-slip differential. The car was recently serviced with an oil change and is now being offered with the original radio, some spare parts, a service manual, Porsche CoA, clear AutoCheck and Carfax reports, and a clean Ohio title. The wide-body M491 option was first offered in 1984 and included the Turbo suspension and brakes during the years when Turbos had been pulled from the US market. The Guards Red paint and bodywork are believed to be original apart from a scratch repair to the right rear fender. Staggered-width black Fuchs wheels wear Yokohama Advan rubber. The black partial leather interior presents well, with some age-related creasing on the seats and a crack in the dash. An Alpine head unit with upgraded speakers and trunk-mounted amplifiers was previously installed, though the original Blaupunkt Monterey radio is included. The naturally-aspirated 3. 2-liter flat-six is mated to a 915 5-speed manual transaxle equipped with a limited-slip differential. A cat bypass pipe has been installed, and the original catalytic converter is included. Over 120 photos are viewable in the gallery and include several lift shots detailing the underside. Original options are also confirmed, including the Turbo Look package, limited-slip differential, cruise control, and more. The original stereo and catalytic converter are included along with amber tail lights, chrome headlamp bezels, headlight buckets, and a workshop manual.
