Description
It was the recipient of a complete rotisserie restoration performed by Porsche specialists Einarâ??s Garage in Seabrook, Texas. The goal was to produce a period-correct 1971 Porsche 914-6 GT Tribute based around the vehicleâ??s current powerplant. The car features wide steel fenders with backdated exterior and cabin components, while power comes from a rebuilt 1971 914-6 2. 0-liter flat-six mated to a side-shift 5-speed manual gearbox. Correct 914-6 Koni front and rear suspension has also been installed. GT-style fender flares were butt-welded to the body during the cosmetic restoration, which also included a repaint in Glasurit Light Ivory and adding stainless steel bumpers. The original tools, jack, and spare assembly are included. The 15â?³ RSR-style Fuchs alloy wheels measure 7â?³ and 8â?³ wide front and rear respectively, and are shod in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires all around. Both trunks are fully finished and detailed in the photo gallery. The cabin has been backdated with an early-style dashboard, reupholstered period-style Recaro seats, Repa four-point harnesses, and 914-6 GT-style door panels. An all-black Momo Prototipo steering wheel has also been added along with a hidden Bluetooth audio system. A 1971 914-6 2. 0-liter flat-six (#6414127) now powers this Porsche. It is mated to a side-shift 5-speed manual transmission and features a period amber fan shroud and air cleaner hoods produced by Damon Josz of Series 900. The fuel delivery system was pressurized, and exhaust gasses flow through long-tube headers linked to megaphone pipes fitted with removable baffles. A dossier documenting the restoration includes pictures and receipts. Additionally, the factory manuals and four Fuchs center caps come with the car
