1947 Diamond T 404 Deluxe Pickup Truck

Up for sale is this 1947 Diamond T Deluxe 404 pickup truck. This is the larger cab model from Diamond T. It has a little more legroom than the smaller 201 and 306 pickups. The fenders are 6 feet long, 20" wheels with 34" tall tires. Bed is a little more than 4'x8'. This truck accelerates, shifts, steers and stops very well. The truck has a new GM Performance 350 H.O. Deluxe Engine 330 HP, 381 LB-FT, New Holley 4160 650cfm Carburetor, new GM Performance Intake and HEI Ignition. GM 700R4 4-speed auto transmission with locking torque converter. GM 14 Bolt with 3.73 gears with new brake shoes, drums and cylinders. Gauges are original 1937 Diamond T Deluxe parts and reproduced 12v units. Tires are 275/65/R20 --they are 34" tall and show wear. Receiver / hitch for towing. Air adjustable rear shocks. Amateur paint job is smooth and shiny, but thin in a couple of places with a few small dings. All interior and exterior lighting, headlights, taillights, signals etc. work.
