1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL

This 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL retains its numbers-matching 2. 8-liter fuel-injected inline-six and was sold new by Star Motors in Evergreen Park, Illinois. It was stored for a number of years prior to this and has been driven about 8,500 miles since. Receipts for parts from the Mercedes Benz Classic Center show a new fuel pump, oil cooler, driveshaft flex disk, shifter bushings, and rear muffler, as well as motor, transmission, sub-frame, and center differential mounts. July 2017 work included an oil change, lubrication, new spark plugs, and a full inspection.
