Description
1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS (tribute). Total rebuild was completed in 2013 and only 500 miles have been clocked on the odometer attending local car shows and cruises. Every body panel on the car, except the roof has been replaced and welded in with oem parts. This includes the front fenders, hood, trunk, door skins, floor and trunk pans, and quarter panels. Body work is excellent and straight. The GM Rallye Green is a 2-stage urethane with a lot of metallic. It looks fantastic. All the chrome and trim are either new or replated. All the glass is excellent and in good operating condition. The interior is new throughout including new foam in all the seats. The headliner is also new but has not been stretched. All of the gauges work, no heater or radio. Entire fuel system including the gas tank, stainless lines, and fuel pump are new. The suspension is stock, but new including: bushings, sway bar, rear springs, shocks, brakes and brake hardware (factory drums all around). 15 American Racing polished torque thrust wheels with 215 x 60R x 15 radials. Engine is a 406 c.i. small block Chevy with roller rockers, lifters, and roller cam (believed to be a comp cams set up). Ceramic coated headers and a completely new 2 1/2 exhaust system w/Flow master mufflers. Ignition is an HEI unit with a 2-wire alternator. Factory radiator was serviced and helps the car run cool. Edelbrock 650 carburetor w/ Victor Jr. intake manifold, and holley air cleaner. Transmission is a Turbo 350 with a B&M shift kit and 2500 stall converter. Rear differential was rebuilt using the stock 10-bolt axles, 3.31:1 open gears.
