The truck is optioned with dual exhaust, 33 gallon fuel tank, air conditioning, luggage rack, and trailer hitch. The repaint was performed in the original color scheme of Black (001) with gold side stripes, and the steel wheels were also repainted gold. New side indicators and bezels were installed, as was a new front windshield and complete set of rubber seals. Suspension work included new front shocks, upper and lower ball joints, and tie rod ends. The wheel bearings were repacked and adjusted, the steering box was rebuilt, a frame stiffener was added, the rag joint was rebuilt, and an alignment was performed. The master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, front calipers, all brake hoses, and rear hardware were also replaced. The refurbished interior features new vinyl and cloth upholstery on the seats, new carpets, and an NOS spare tire cover. The floors, cargo area, rear quarter panels, roof under the headliner, inner doors, and the metal door panels were insulated, and numerous metal parts such as the seat bases, center console, A/C box and vent assembly, were powder coated. The carpet piece for the tailgate is included but not installed. The original AM radio is in place, and the A/C system was converted to R134a and fitted with a new compressor and receiver/dryer. Electrical work included new dash bulbs, radio bulb, ignition switch, other miscellaneous switches, new battery cables, and new printed circuit boards for the gauges. The odometer reads 29,110 miles and is believed to have rolled over once. He had the heads machined and installed new rings, rod and main bearings, seals, and gaskets. He also installed a rebuilt Holley carb and replaced the air injection pipes, cooling system pipes, exhaust heat riser, water pump, fuel pump, all belts and hoses, distributor pick-up assembly and coil, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, all filters, accelerator cable, and more. The engine was painted with three coats of POR15 enamel. In addition, the radiator was re-cored and a new fan clutch, heater valve, and Robert Shaw thermostat were installed. The stock engine and transmission mounts were upgraded to polyurethane. The 4-speed manual transmission was rebuilt with new bearings, synchros, seals, and gaskets. The clutch was also rebuilt and the assembly received new release and pilot bearings, and a resurfaced flywheel and new linkage bushings were added. The transfer case was resealed while it was out. The last time the truck passed a California smog check was in August of 2008, and the most recent service was a new battery installed in May of 2017.
