Description
It has been kept in a climate controlled garage with radiant floor heating when not in use, and is stored during winter months. Powered by a 3. 2-liter flat-six, the car is equipped with an optional limited-slip differential, sport shocks, and a front and rear spoiler. Records are limited, though a Porsche CoA is included along with the original manuals, tool kit, keys, and spare. The finish holds a deep shine and provides a sharp contrast to the well-cared for black exterior trim. Sport shocks are featured on the option list along with black 16â?³ Fuchs. The alloys wear Pirelli P-Zero tires that show substantial tread, but are of unknown vintage. The headliner in the targa top was replaced after the foam began to deteriorate. The black interior has been well-preserved, with no cracks apparent on the dash and clean upholstery and carpeting. The seats have electric height adjustment and show only slight wear on the driverâ??s bolsters, and the original back seat straps are still in place. An aftermarket period cassette player can be seen in the dash, but the factory radio also comes with the car. The A/C system is not blowing very cold. The 3. 2-liter M930 flat-six is coupled with a 915 5-speed manual gearbox and optional limited-slip differential. More recent work includes an engine mat replaced by John Paterek, as well as an oil and filter change in 2016. An occasional drip of oil from the engine is noted. The video above shows the car driving, shifting through fourth gear, and braking. The original spare tire is reported to have never touched the ground, and the rubber band is still on the jack. The factory fuse kit remains inside the original tool kit, and the air compressor case still has the tabs for the lid. Filed under: 911, 911 sc, impact bumper, impact-bumper
