The car is perfectly balanced front to rear, and has a total weight of 2,450 pounds.The car is powered by a completely new engine based upon a new 4 bolt main Dart 5.0 Ford engine block. The block was bored 0.060 over, and a new Trick Flow factory balance stroker rotating assembly with forged crankshaft providing a 11.5 compression ratio was installed. The injection and timing systems were professionally dyno tuned. The injection system is programmable and has an in car plug in programmer. The intake air filter and valve covers are new Cobra cast aluminum. The oil pan is 11 quarts and was designed for racing with a factory provided pick up. The oil filter is remotely mounted in front of the engine.
