Description
1970 Plymouth road runner RM23. It is not a numbers matching car. Originally a 383 now a 440 4 barrel with original 727 automatic. It runs, drives and stops. The engine is strong and does not blow smoke. The body is straight and original except the spoiler, and low fender replacements, with little fill. The frame rails and structure are in good condition. A new 1 piece floor pan and 2 piece trunk pan have been tacked in and will need finish weld. The interior is original with factory radio , except the seat covers carpet and dash pad. The original seat covers under are cracked and taped but padding and springs are good and are still comfortable. There is no head liner but all 6 bows and clips included. Windows, doors and locks work excellent with good seals. All gauges and lights work. Blower motor, wipers and wash, and emergency brake work. Has new master cylinder but will need new front wheel cylinder and drums in front. The engine compartment is clean with typical pitting. It has all 3 legible v.i.n. tags, fender, dash and door. The one coat of paint over the original is of fair driver condition with chips, scratches and blemishes. The original bumpers have done their job over the past 47 years but are only poor driver condition. The following is what has been done in the past year: -new tires -new shocks -new floor and trunk pans -new dash pad -new windshield -new battery -gas tank and sending unit -new master cylinder -new stainless steel crossover exhaust pipes -re manufactured 800cfm thermo quad carb -water pump and hoses -oil and trans filters -all new light bulbs dash and exterior
