Restored 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV

This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV was first sold in October of 1975 at Econo Imports in Hermosa Beach, California and is equipped with factory air conditioning. 0L twin-cam four rebuilt in 2012. He had the car repainted in its original color, refreshed the interior, upgraded the suspension, and had the mechanicals serviced by Alfa Performance Connection in Orange, California. The 5-speed manual gearbox was rebuilt, the SPICA fuel injection was tuned, and the radiator and fuel pump were replaced. A two-stage repaint in the original Rosso (501) color was performed by Autobahn Autobody in Costa Mesa, California. The work was performed with Glasurit paint at a cost of nearly $10k. The front grille, badges, and some of the chrome trim were replaced, and 38 of the original trim pieces were polished. A new front windshield was installed, and the rubber seals, taillights, indicator lenses, and fog lamps were replaced. Suspension upgrades include new Bilstein shocks and red springs, and the brakes were serviced in June by APC with a new master cylinder, pads, and booster repair. A set of 15� Alfaholics GTA wheels wear Bridgestone Ecopia tires. The cabin has been refreshed with new black upholstery, door panels, kick panel pockets, and seat belts. Dynamat and additional padding were installed prior to new black carpets and floor mats, and the dash was also recovered. New interior components include a wooden-rimmed steering wheel, shifter, shift knob, shift boot, wood trim pieces, and center console. The factory A/C system was serviced with a new condenser, compressor, fan, and a recharge on June 26, 2017 by APC. The odometer shows 51,632 miles and is believed to have rolled over once. Work included a rebuild of the 5-speed manual transmission, tuning of the SPICA fuel injection system, oil leak repair, and replacement of the radiator, fuel pump, fan shroud, muffler gaskets, oil pan guard, hoses, plugs, battery, and more. Limited records from 1984 to 2000 are included along with a more thorough service history detailing the work done from 2000 to the present.
