Description
75% complete street rod project will be a high dollar one of a kind street rod when finished. All steel body with chopped windshield and shaved door & trunk handles. One piece nose (welded fenders, hood, hood sides & grille shell with reinforcing tubular structure). Headlights molded into the fenders, filled side grilles and cowl vent removed. Polished stainless steel firewall and gas tank. Tilt and telescoping Cadillac steering column. Complete working convertible top frame with hydraulic cylinders and motor. Side window motors and glass channels are installed in the doors. Windshield wipers and motor installed. Complete new "Southern Air" air/heat/defrost system installed. Third brake light molded into the body above the trunk. 5.3 litre (326 cu in) Jaguar V12-HE fuel injected motor. I believe that it is a 1983 or 1984 motor. I trailered the car to a specialist Jaguar mechanic, who checked out the motor, corrected some vacuum lines and did a complete tune-up. Runs smooth and there are no fluid leaks of any kind. The Jaguar mechanic said that he thinks it is a very low mileage motor with only one or two thousand miles on it.
