1996 Ferrari F355 Spider 6-Speed

This 1996 Ferrari F355 Spider shows 38k miles and is finished in Rosso Corsa over tan leather. Powered by a 3. 5-liter DOHC V8 paired to a 6-speed manual transaxle, the car has been modified with a Fabspeed exhaust and JVC stereo head unit. A 2010 repaint in the original Rosso Corsa was performed following the removal of all the body panels. A repaint in the original Rosso Corsa was performed in 2010 at a cost of over $10k. The factory five-spoke wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The soft top is now manually operated, though the hydraulic system is reported to have functioned correctly prior to the conversion. The original hardware to return the top to power operation is included. Sticky buttons in the interior have recently been addressed, and new climate control markings will be installed before the end of the auction. The 3. 5L DOHC V8 was rated at 375 hp and 268 lb-ft of torque when new and has received regular servicing as documented by the included receipts. The timing belt tensioners and idler rollers were also replaced along with filters, seals, gaskets, spark plugs, the coolant, and other fluids. The results of a recent compression and leak-down test are shown in the gallery. A FabSpeeed exhaust was installed in April 2012 along with a new flywheel and timing belt.
