1955 Ford Thunderbird Base Convertible

1955 Ford Thunderbird, the first year of the baby birds. This is an very solid example and has been well cared for over the years. The car was repainted in a pearlescent white, and though not an original color, it looks great on the car and enhances the lines beautifully. The interior shows well and is finished in red and white with a turned aluminum dash accent. Both the black convertible top as well as a matching hard top is included in the sale. All of the body panels are rust free and solid. The frame looks solid as well. Mechanically, the car is well sorted as the engine starts right up and runs strong. It is mated to a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive and it shifts smoothly through all of the gears.Â
