1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Restomod

1968 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT500 COBRA ELEANOR TRIBUTE 289 AUTOMATIC DISC BRAKES! Very nice vintage 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Eleanor Cobra tribute. Clean and clear title in hand. Recently received restoration work, good running/driving condition lots of new parts!!! Body is straight with no rust and minimal body filler. Color Pepper Gray Metallic with Jet Black Lemans stripes. Paint is brand new 1 week old base coat clear cut and polished to a high shine. Many new exterior parts and add ons: New 17x8 polished American Racing Torque Thrust 2 wheels and brand new tires. New exterior trim, Eleanor side scoops, hood scoop, billet grille, mirrors, emblems, and lettering. Exterior lighting is completely functional (headlights, turn signals, backup lamps). The engine is a strong running 289 cubic inch V8 runs great! Pro Billet HEI distributor, MSD 8.2mm wires, Ford Racing aluminum valve covers, chrome air breather, Duralast starter, heavy duty radiator. Engine is turn key, runs good and does not overheat. Exhaust is full length headers running into 2.25 inch piping and Magnaflow polished steel mufflers with turn downs dumped at rear axle. The exhaust sounds like a musclecar should. Transmission is a C4 three speed automatic and shifts nicely with no issues. The interior has been redone with factory style comfortweave seat upholstery, new woodgrain steering wheel, new door panels, new arm rests, new dash pad, new center console, new carpet, new kick panels, new headliner, new floor mats, new rear shelf tray with seat divider. This Mustang has a tape deck with two 6" speakers in front and two 6x9 speakers in the rear. Interior gauges and lighting is in working condition. Original A/C system is in tact, but will require servicing to be operational. This Mustang has been lowered 1 inch front and rear. Four wheel disc brakes with new master cylinder. Brakes work great with ample stopping power. Suspension is all stock with coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear. Front and rear shocks are brand new. A late model Mustang 8.5" rear axle has been installed for extra strength. Trunk is clean no rust new trunk mat with spare cover.
