Description
This original survivor is a true SS. With factory A/C, cruise control, automatic headlight dimmer, power brakes, tented glass, factory radio, standard for SS package. The center console really brings the interior together. This car was purchased from the original owner, who bought it in January of 1963. It has been garage kept all of it's life. It was repainted one time, approximately 30 years ago. The left front fender was repaired from a minor accident at the same time the car was repainted. There few very small areas of rust bubbling in the paint (none of the rust is through the metal - just very minor on the surface). First is bottom of right B post passenger side, second is on the driver side lower portion of door (refer to pictures). This car is as solid as they come for an original car. The engine is a 327/250 hp with a Rochester four barrel carburetor, power glide transmission original to the car. The alternator has been replaced, but the original one is in the trunk. Like I said, this car is bone stock original. The interior headliner is in like new condition and original to the vehicle. One seam on the passenger seat is torn (shown in pictures). Remainder of interior is in excellent condition. Odometer shows 17k miles but these are not to believed to be the actual miles. It cranks up first time and drives like a dream. As to be expected for an original car of this age, it does have some small oil leaks. The only thing I have done to the vehicle is put tires and brakes on it. I have all the original paper work (Title and Bill of Sale Contract).
