Description
This 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV is thought to have spent its life on the West Coast before a 2015 restoration in California followed by an engine rebuild and finishing work in Pennsylvania. Cosmetic work included new paint in original Amaranth Red, fresh interior pieces, and Alfaholics GTA wheels. Mechanical freshening included a rebuild of the 2. Equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox and working factory air conditioning, this GTV is sold with records from the 2015 work and a Pennsylvania title. The body was repainted in its original Amaranth Red during the 2015 restoration. Gallery photos show the paint under different lighting conditions in Pennsylvania and California. New Alfaholics GTA replica wheels are mounted with modern performance radials. Bodywork and paint were performed by Autobahn Auto Body of Costa Mesa, California, including rust repair with new sheet metal. The interior has been treated to new front and rear vinyl seat upholstery, door panels, and headliner, as well as fresh carpeting over replacement floor pans. Multiple close-up photos detail the condition of the painted door jambs, wood paneling, and plastic dash. Jaeger instruments include a 5-digit odometer currently showing 38k miles, though no records exist to confirm true mileage. A new ignition switch was recently fitted. The 2. The factory SPICA fuel injection system was refurbished by Wes Ingram. Compression reportedly tests at 150-155 psi across all four cylinders. A new stock exhaust system and hangers have also been installed. The rear differential received a new gasket and pinion seal during the recent service, and both were filled with appropriate Red Line synthetic fluids. A recent front suspension rebuild included adjustable upper control arms and fresh bushings, lower ball joints, steering rod ends, and more. A collection of underbody photos details the condition of the drivetrain, suspension, and floors. A folder of documentation covers the restoration in California and more recent work performed in Pennsylvania. Prior history is unknown and earlier records are unavailable.
